The workshop

With more than 300 participants attending and actively participating in the workshop the great importance of water and its sustainable use in the region is quite obvious. International cooperation is one key for solving the existing problems in the water sector. The workshop was an important event to enhance such cooperation. We would like to thank all speakers and participants for the attractive talks and fruitful discussions and we are looking forward to the next event with you. Aim & Background

SusWatec is especially designed for young researchers and students from Egypt and the region. On one hand, the students will not only have the chance to experience new techniques and technologies, but also to get in close discussions with the well known scientists as well as representatives from the industry and the government.
